MLW has been working on invasive Salmonella disease for 18 years. There have been sequential epidemics of both typhoid and invasive non-typhoidal Salmonella disease (iNTS) in Blantyre. Understanding of iNTS disease lags typhoid, with many large knowledge and tool gaps. There are new or untrialled vaccines for typhoid and NTS. 1. a) burden of disease estimates, b) longitudinal descriptions
