Chisomo Jassi is a research nurse under the supervision of Dr Fumbani Limani .
Her research deals with estimating the economic burden of typhoid
Fever in urban Blantyre.
She has also worked with TyVAC study under the supervision of Felistas Kumwenda.
The study was a vaccine trail on Typhoid conjugate vaccine in children in urban Blantyre.
She has also worked with Malaria Alert Centre under ICEMR study in Liwonde Namanolo Health center, the study that was trying to understand why Malaria is still a burden in Malawi while there are lots of preventive ways to prevent and treat Malaria.
Chisomo Jassi has a diploma in Nursing and Midwifery Technician from Malamulo College of Health Sciences
Her long term goals is to pursue a Degree in Public Health and then pursue a Masters Degree in Research Project Management and develop into a research leader and training the next generation of Health and scientist in Malawi and internationally.
