Martha Khombe Moyo is a research nurse who has been in research field since 2012.Martha has been working mostly in paediatric based studies. She was involved in a study which was looking at the Developmental effects of children whose mothers were on ART and were being breast fed against those whose mothers were HIV negative and were also being breast fed.(PIE-AB study),Limbe Health Centre, Blantyre, from 2014 to 2016. She then joined the Virology Research Group in 2017 under Rotamune study which is also a paediatric based study. With the experience of working in paediatric studies, Martha has developed an interest to further her career in children care, currently studying for Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development at Malawi Assemblies of God University; this will widen her knowledge in paediatric based studies which are underway at MLW.
Martha has a certificate in Nursing and Midwifery and a Diploma in Leadership Management. She is a registered member with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi.
Her long term goal is to further her career in paediatric management.
