Felistas Kumwenda Mwakiseghile works as a Trial coordinator in the TyVAC vaccine Trial and the Typhoid surveillance (STRATAA) study at MLW. She also helps coordinate other studies like TyCOI. She has Co-authored in different papers at MLW.
She has seven years trail coordination work experience and has high expertise in managing two big clinical Trials (TRACT and TyVAC). Her main roles have been recruiting and coordinating research subjects and serving as a principle administrative liaison for the project. She has also been overseeing and coordinating the provision of administrative and staff services to principle investigators; coordinating ethical submissions and developing and maintaining recordkeeping systems and procedures
Felistas has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Malawi, Kamuzu College of Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing and International Health from University of Aberdeen UK
Her long term goal is to develop herself in the area of project management and also undertake work in complex projects.
