Dr Rebecca Searle is a Liverpool Clinical PhD Programme Candidate at the Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Research Programme, specialising in clinical prediction and diagnostic tools, clinical epidemiology, and translational research. 

Her PhD work is investigating the predictors of neurodevelopmental disorder diagnosis, functioning, and participation in early school age children in Malawi (PreNDD study).

With over a decade of experience in clinical medicine, and several years of experience in clinical academia, her work focuses on paediatric neurodevelopment and the social determinants of child health. Her interests include clinical prediction and early intervention for neurodevelopmental disorders, inclusive education, qualitative research, health systems, and public and policy engagement.
