This study aims to address the ethical and social implications of conducting human genomics research in Malawi, focusing on protecting vulnerable participants and ensuring that the outcomes of such research benefit the communities involved. The research will explore critical issues such as informed consent, community engagement, culturally sensitive research practices, and the long-term implications of genomic data collection and use, particularly in low-resource settings.
