Understanding Community and Healthcare Worker Perceptions of Febrile Illness and Antibiotic Use in the Context of Malaria Vaccination in Mangochi, Malawi
This qualitative study is part of a broader cluster randomized evaluation assessing the impact of pneumococcal and malaria vaccines on antimicrobial resistance (AMR), febrile illnesses, and antibiotic use in children under five in Malawi. The study aims to generate in-depth, contextual insights into community and healthcare worker perceptions related to vaccination, febrile illness, and antibiotic use, with a focus on the experiences of rural communities in Mangochi District.
