The Science for All virtual group under the banner One-For-All Forum on Friday 3 June 2022 visited Malawi Liverpool headquarters for an audience with the Science for All support team.
The meeting focused on exploring creative and novel ways of engaging the public amid restricted engagement works.
MLW’s Science for All Coordinator Agness Lakudzula said the One for All Forum will be utilised to create opportunities for students to express their views on various scientific topics.
“Moving forward, we are anticipating regular meetings with the group as the number of COVID-19 cases has reduced, providing internship opportunities and publishing stories from the group are other plans on our card,” said Lakudzala.
One of the members of the One for All Virtual forum, Vanessa Kamzati who is a Third Year Medical Microbiology student at Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) said, “I have interacted with my fellow members on our platform, we have known each, and we have appreciated the capabilities of each other. This will help us to rely on each other when doing our projects.”
The meeting follows a series of visits by secondary school-based Science for All members from Ngumbe, Zingwangwa, Stella Maris, Nyirenda Hill Secondary Schools, and Mfera Community Day Secondary School.
