MLW’s Senior Reporting Accountant Asimenye Kayuni recently won a travel grant from African Academy of Sciences to represent the Southern of Africa Grantee at the Good Financial Grant Practice Standard (GFGP) at the Science Forum Week in Pretoria.

The objective of GFGP Standard is to standardize, simplify and strengthen the financial governance of grant funding for grantees including MLW.

Asimenye explained that the GFGP Standard will provide benefits which include reduction of costs and administration time for both grantors and grantees and reduction of the risk of corruption, bribery and fraud.
