Suzgika Lakudzala Munthali

Suzgika Lakudzala Munthali is a Public Health researcher and currently working as a Policy Fellow at the Malawi Liverpool Wellcome (MLW) Programme, Policy Unit, with over 10 years of experience supporting evidence informed health policy and systems decision making.
Her work focuses on evidence synthesis, knowledge translation, and stakeholder engagement to inform national health policy processes in Malawi and similar settings.
At MLW, Suzgika supports Rapid Response Services by contributing to evidence synthesis processes, policy briefs, and national level stakeholder engagement activities evidence juries. She also supports internal capacity building through policy engagement series and policy clinics delivered through the MLW Policy Unit.
Prior to joining MLW, she worked as a Senior Research Scientist at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHES), following earlier experience as a Project Manager for the Collaboration for Evidence Based Healthcare and Public Health in Africa (CEBHA+).
Her research interests include health policy and systems research as well as Non Communicable Diseases (NCDs). She holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management both from the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (formerly known as College of Medicine) in Malawi.
