Orpha Kumwenda started her Nursing career with St Johns Nursing School, she a holder of Nursing & Midwifery certificates, worked with Ministry of Health at Nkhotakota hospital for 1 year. Then she joined Amar cooperation as Nurse Midwife. Then she joined Research programs in 2007 with College of Medicine in study of Bacterial Meningitis then she jpoined Malaria Alert where she was sent to Liwonde to do a drug efficacy in pregnant women. Now with Malawi Liverpool welcome Trust working with Rota rite combined study – identifying and recruiting eligible participants also doing Rapid testing, and also ABCD trial study.
She is a provider of ART and Family planning door to door.
Now in Diarsurv and Rotagene studies.
