Marah is a Clinical Research within the Viral Immunology Research Group, where he coordinates the NEOIMMUNE study. He obtained a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Malawi (College of Medicine) in 2016.
His current project is investigating the role of developmentally regulated microRNAs in neonatal immunity. He has previous worked in various research capacities with the College of Medicine and Partners in Health, before joining MLW.
His main research interest is the exploration of spatial and temporal variations in infectious diseases and his long-term goal is to become an independent researcher specializing in Geostatistical Methods.
